 | As we head into our mid to late 40s we all will begin to notice that small print will become more and more difficult to read up close. This is usually noticed when one starts to move menus, price tags and newspapers (for example) further away in order to read the fine print. This condition called presbyopia affects everyone and is a typical sign of our aging eyes. There is not one agreed upon reason why presbyopia occurs. Some believe it is due to the hardening of the lens of the eye and others believe it is due to the weakening of the muscles around the lens due to aging.
There are many surgical and non-surgical treatment options for Presbyopia.
Surgical Options include:
CK Monovision LASIK Clear Lens Exchange.
Non Surgical Options include:
Contact Lenses Bifocals and Reading Glasses.
