We continue the trip at the Benjamin Eye Institute in Los Angeles, one of the most cutting-edge medical facilities, and present you to the virtually limitless potential of technology.

From Bach to BEI (2)

Operating room environment is one important factor that is frequently overlooked during eye surgery procedures. The ambient humidity and temperature greatly affect not only the laser performance, but most importantly how your eyes will respond to the treatment. That’s why at BEI we have a unique, autonomous climate control system in our laser suite.

FRESH, CLEAN AIR FOR YOUR EYES

The air in the suite is conditioned independently from the building’s air conditioning system. The air passes through a series of HEPA filters, which prevent bacteria and particulates from contaminating the surgical environment.

The air is also maintained at a certain humidity level and temperature. This system is unique to our Institute and quite costly, but we believe it is one of the essential elements making the excellence of our results possible.

Our surgery suite is outfitted with cutting-edge technology designed to make our operations safer, more effective and more precise.

ORA INTRA-OPERATIVE ABERROMETRY

Featuring a heads-up display and image overlays onto the operating microscope, this technology allows your eye surgeon to obtain valuable information during surgery in real-time.

HOLOS INTRAOPERATOVE ABERROMETRY

This invaluable tool continuously streams patient refractive data during surgery, providing your eye surgeon with continuous, real-time information and the assurance of precision and accuracy.

ALCON CENTURION PHACOEMULSIFICATION SYSTEM

This system delivers increased safety and a speedy recovery during and after cataract extraction.

CATALYS

The Catalys Precision Laser System ensures highly accurate incisions and outstanding results in cataract surgery.

LENSX

The Lensx Laser enables heightened precision and efficiency during cataract refractive surgery, so the procedure is as safe and successful as possible.
